Availability & sync
Control when leads can book meetings with you by setting weekly hours, connecting Google Calendar, and adding date-specific overrides for vacations or holidays.
Setting your weekly availability
- Open Scheduler settings. Go to Scheduler in the sidebar, then click Settings (or the gear icon).
- Set hours per day. For each day of the week, toggle it on or off and set your start and end times. For example, Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
- Add multiple blocks. Need a lunch break? Split a day into two blocks (e.g., 9:00–12:00 and 1:00–5:00). Click Add block next to any day.
- Save. Your booking page immediately reflects the new hours.
Connecting Google Calendar
Syncing with Google Calendar ensures leads cannot book you during times you already have events:
- Go to Settings → Integrations → Google Calendar.
- Click Connect. Sign in with your Google account and grant Asan permission to read your calendar events.
- Select calendars. Choose which Google calendars to check for conflicts. Personal and work calendars can both be selected.
- Done. Asan now reads your Google Calendar events in real time. Any time slot that overlaps with a Google event is automatically blocked on your booking page.
The sync is two-way:
- Google events block time slots on your Asan booking page.
- Meetings booked through Asan appear on your Google Calendar automatically.
Minimum scheduling notice
The minimum notice setting prevents leads from booking meetings too close to the current time. For example, if you set a 2-hour minimum notice, a lead visiting your booking page at 10:00 AM cannot book anything before 12:00 PM.
Common settings:
| Notice period | Best for |
|---|---|
| 30 minutes | Teams that want maximum booking flexibility and can handle last-minute meetings. |
| 2 hours | Most sales teams. Gives you time to receive the Cori prep brief and prepare. |
| 24 hours | Consultants or executives who need a full day to prepare for each meeting. |
Set this in Scheduler → Settings → Minimum notice.
Date-specific overrides
Overrides let you change your availability for specific dates without touching your weekly schedule. Use them for vacations, holidays, or one-off schedule changes.
- Open Scheduler → Settings → Date Overrides.
- Click Add Override. Select a date or date range.
- Choose the override type:
- Unavailable — block the entire day. No slots appear on your booking page.
- Custom hours — set different hours for that specific date (e.g., available 10:00–2:00 only on a holiday Friday).
- Save. The override takes effect immediately.
