Getting started

How do I sign up for Asan CRM?+
Head to app.asancrm.com and click Start Free Trial. You'll enter your name, email, and password — no credit card required. Your Pro trial lasts 30 days. See Onboarding for the full walkthrough.
What should I do first after signing up?+
Three things: verify your email, import your leads (CSV or Google Contacts), and set up your first phone number. The onboarding wizard walks you through each step. See Set up your account.
How do I import my existing leads?+
Go to Leads → Import and upload a CSV file. Asan maps your columns automatically. You can also import from Google Contacts. See Import from CSV and Import from Google.
Do I get a phone number included?+
Yes. Your first US or Canadian phone number is included free on every plan. You can purchase additional numbers from Settings → Phone Numbers. See Phone numbers.

Plans & pricing

What's the difference between Free, Pro, and Business?+
Free gives you basic CRM with limited calls and SMS. Pro ($100/mo) unlocks the full power dialer, AI coaching, and higher usage limits. Business ($399/mo) adds team features, advanced integrations, and priority support. See Billing & plans for the full comparison.
Is there a free trial?+
Yes. Every new account starts with a 30-day Pro trial — no credit card required. When the trial ends, you can subscribe to Pro or Business, or continue on the Free plan with reduced limits.
What happens when I exceed my plan limits?+
Calls and SMS beyond your plan's included minutes are billed at a small per-unit overage rate and deducted from your wallet. You'll see warnings as you approach your limits. If your wallet reaches $0, outbound calling pauses until you top up.
Can I switch plans mid-cycle?+
Yes. Upgrades take effect immediately and you're charged a prorated amount for the remainder of the billing cycle. Downgrades apply at the start of your next billing period.

Cori AI

What is Cori?+
Cori is Asan CRM's built-in AI assistant. She transcribes and scores every call, writes coaching tips, generates daily briefings, and answers questions about your pipeline in natural language. See Cori Chat.
Is AI coaching automatic?+
Yes. After every call, Cori automatically transcribes the recording, scores it, and generates coaching feedback — no setup required. See Call coaching.
What does Cori Live do?+
Cori Live listens to your active call in real time and provides suggestions, objection handling tips, and talk-track guidance as the conversation unfolds. You enable it per call by checking "Coach this call." See Cori Live.
Does AI usage cost extra?+
AI transcription and coaching are included in your plan. Cori Live uses additional AI processing and is metered — check your wallet for usage details.

Calling & dialer

What is account warm-up?+
New phone numbers start with a low daily call cap (25 calls on day one) that increases gradually over time. This builds trust with carriers and prevents your numbers from being flagged as spam. See Account warm-up.
Why was my call held or skipped?+
DialGuard may hold or skip a call if you've hit your daily cap, the lead's number is flagged DNC, or calling hours haven't started in the lead's time zone. Check the Compliance Monitor for details.
How do I fix "Spam Likely" on my numbers?+
Reduce call volume on affected numbers, spread calls across more numbers, and ensure your connect rate stays healthy. Adding more numbers to your pool helps. See Number reputation for the full remediation checklist.
Are calls automatically recorded?+
Yes. All outbound and inbound calls are recorded, stored, and transcribed automatically. You can play, download, or review any recording from Call Logs or the lead's profile. See Call recording & transcription.
What hours can I make calls?+
Asan enforces calling windows based on your lead's time zone to comply with regulations. By default this is 8 AM to 9 PM local time. You can adjust these windows in Settings. See Calling hours.

Data & privacy

Where is my data stored?+
All data is stored on secure cloud servers in North America. Call recordings, lead data, and account information are backed up daily. See Security.
Can I export my data?+
Yes. You can export your entire lead database as a CSV file at any time from Leads → Export. Call recordings can be downloaded individually from Call Logs. See CSV import & export.
Is my data encrypted?+
Yes. All data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest. Sensitive credentials like API keys are stored using industry-standard encryption. See Security.
Can I delete a lead's data for compliance?+
Yes. You can permanently delete any lead and all associated data (calls, notes, emails) from their profile. This is irreversible and satisfies most data deletion requests under GDPR and PIPEDA.

Team features

How many team members can I add?+
The number of seats depends on your plan. Free includes 1 user, Pro includes up to 3, and Business supports unlimited team members. See Billing & plans.
Can agents see each other's leads?+
By default, agents see only the leads assigned to them. Admins and managers can see all leads. You can adjust visibility through roles and permissions.
How do roles work?+
Asan has three built-in roles: Admin (full access including billing and settings), Manager (team oversight and reporting), and Agent (leads, dialer, and personal reports). See Roles & permissions.

Integrations

Which integrations are available?+
Asan integrates with Facebook Lead Ads, Google Calendar, Stripe, and supports custom integrations via webhooks. See Integrations for the full list.
How do I connect Facebook Lead Ads?+
Go to Settings → Integrations → Facebook, connect your Facebook account, select your page and forms, and map the fields. New leads flow in automatically within seconds. See Facebook leads.
Do webhooks retry on failure?+
Yes. If a webhook delivery fails (non-2xx response), Asan retries up to 3 times with exponential backoff. You can view delivery logs and manually retry from Settings → Webhooks. See Webhooks.
Can I connect my Google Calendar?+
Yes. Connect your Google Calendar to sync meetings, block out busy times, and let leads book appointments through your scheduling page. See Connect Calendar.
