Team DNA map
Visualize your sales team's personality composition with radar charts that show each member's strengths. Use the insights to route leads to the right agent and build a balanced team.
What is Team DNA?
Team DNA is a visual map of your team's collective sales personality. Each member is plotted on a radar chart across five core dimensions:
- Persuasion — ability to influence decisions and close deals.
- Empathy — skill in reading emotions and building rapport.
- Resilience — capacity to handle rejection and maintain energy.
- Analytical — strength in data-driven selling, qualifying, and objection handling with logic.
- Energy — pace, enthusiasm, and ability to sustain high call volumes.
The map gives managers an at-a-glance view of where the team is strong and where there are gaps to fill through hiring or coaching.
Completing the personality assessment
Each team member must complete a short personality assessment before they appear on the DNA map:
- Navigate to Team DNA in the sidebar (or ask the team member to open their Personality page).
- Start the assessment. The assessment consists of scenario-based questions about sales situations. It takes approximately 5 minutes to complete.
- Submit answers. Once submitted, the system calculates scores across the five dimensions and generates the radar chart.
Results are not pass/fail — every personality type has strengths in sales. The assessment identifies where those strengths lie so you can leverage them.
Reading the radar chart
Each agent's profile shows a five-point radar chart. The further a point extends from the center, the stronger that dimension is for the agent. A perfectly balanced agent would have an even pentagon; most agents skew toward two or three strengths.
- Sharp spikes indicate dominant traits — use these as the agent's primary assignment focus.
- Shallow points highlight areas for coaching or pairing with a complementary teammate.
- Hover over a point to see the exact score (1–10) and a brief description of what that level means.
The team view
The team-wide DNA map overlays all agents' radar charts on a single visualization. This makes it easy to spot patterns:
- Cluster of strength — if most agents score high in Persuasion but low in Empathy, the team may struggle with relationship-driven sales cycles.
- Coverage gaps — no one scoring above average in Analytical? Consider hiring for that trait or coaching existing agents to strengthen it.
- Complementary pairs — agents with opposite strength profiles can be paired for mentorship or co-selling opportunities.
Using DNA for lead routing
The real power of Team DNA is matching the right agent to the right lead. Use personality insights alongside lead assignment and routing rules:
- High-value enterprise leads → assign to agents with strong Analytical and Empathy scores. These leads need consultative selling.
- High-volume cold leads → assign to agents with strong Energy and Resilience scores. They can maintain pace through rejection.
- Warm inbound leads → assign to agents with strong Persuasion scores. The lead is already interested; the agent needs to close.
