Team DNA map

Visualize your sales team's personality composition with radar charts that show each member's strengths. Use the insights to route leads to the right agent and build a balanced team.

What is Team DNA?

Team DNA is a visual map of your team's collective sales personality. Each member is plotted on a radar chart across five core dimensions:

The map gives managers an at-a-glance view of where the team is strong and where there are gaps to fill through hiring or coaching.

Team DNA is available to users with the Admin or Owner role. Agents can view their own personality profile but not the full team map.

Completing the personality assessment

Each team member must complete a short personality assessment before they appear on the DNA map:

  1. Navigate to Team DNA in the sidebar (or ask the team member to open their Personality page).
  2. Start the assessment. The assessment consists of scenario-based questions about sales situations. It takes approximately 5 minutes to complete.
  3. Submit answers. Once submitted, the system calculates scores across the five dimensions and generates the radar chart.

Results are not pass/fail — every personality type has strengths in sales. The assessment identifies where those strengths lie so you can leverage them.

Have your entire team complete the assessment in the same week. This gives you the full team picture immediately rather than waiting for results to trickle in.

Reading the radar chart

Each agent's profile shows a five-point radar chart. The further a point extends from the center, the stronger that dimension is for the agent. A perfectly balanced agent would have an even pentagon; most agents skew toward two or three strengths.

The team view

The team-wide DNA map overlays all agents' radar charts on a single visualization. This makes it easy to spot patterns:

Only team members who have completed the assessment appear on the team view. Incomplete assessments are shown as a prompt to finish.

Using DNA for lead routing

The real power of Team DNA is matching the right agent to the right lead. Use personality insights alongside lead assignment and routing rules:

Combine DNA-based routing with performance reports to validate whether your matching strategy is actually improving conversion rates.

Frequently asked

Can an agent retake the assessment?+
Yes. Agents can retake the assessment at any time from their Personality page. The new results replace the previous ones on the DNA map.
Are the results shared with the whole team?+
Only Admins and Owners can see the full team DNA map. Agents see only their own radar chart and personality summary. This keeps individual results private while giving managers the team-level view.
Does the assessment affect my account or leads?+
No. The assessment is purely informational. It does not change permissions, lead visibility, or any account settings. It exists to help managers make smarter routing decisions.
What if my team is too small for meaningful DNA analysis?+
Team DNA is useful even for teams of two or three. It helps you understand individual strengths and assign leads accordingly. As your team grows, the team-wide visualization becomes more powerful for spotting gaps.
Can I use DNA data to automate lead routing?+
Currently, DNA insights are manual — you use them to inform your routing rules and assignment decisions. Automated DNA-based routing is on the product roadmap.
