Power dialer

Call leads directly from your browser using the built-in Twilio-powered dialer. Every call is recorded, transcribed, and analyzed by Cori AI — so you get coaching after every conversation.

Making a call

You can start a call in two ways:

  1. From the dialer widget. Click the phone icon in the bottom-right corner of any page to open the dialer. Type or paste a phone number and press Call.
  2. From a lead profile. Open any lead and click the phone icon next to their number. The dialer opens pre-filled and starts ringing immediately.

During the call you have access to a full set of controls (see Call controls below). When the call ends, Cori automatically transcribes the recording and generates a coaching analysis.

Use a headset for the best audio quality. Chrome and Edge provide the most reliable WebRTC experience.

Power dialer queue

The power dialer lets you burn through a list of leads without lifting a finger between calls:

  1. Select leads. On the Leads page, check the leads you want to dial — or use filters and select all.
  2. Click Power Dial. The dialer opens with the queue loaded. It calls the first lead automatically.
  3. Work the list. After each call ends, the dialer moves to the next lead in the queue. You can Skip a lead, Pause the queue, or Stop the session at any time.
Leads that have a DNC flag or no phone number on file are automatically excluded from the queue.

Answering machine detection (AMD)

AMD listens to the first few seconds of every outbound call and determines whether a live person or a voicemail system answered. When AMD detects a machine, the call is ended automatically and the dialer moves to the next lead in the queue.

This saves significant time during high-volume power dialer sessions — you only spend time talking to real people.

AMD works on all outbound calls, whether you are using the power dialer queue or dialing a single number manually.

Number rotation

During power dialer sessions, your outbound caller ID rotates across your phone number pool automatically. This spreads call volume evenly across numbers, which helps protect each number's reputation with carriers and reduces the chance of being flagged as spam.

Number rotation is managed by DialGuard and requires no configuration — it works automatically when you have more than one number in your account. See Number rotation & caps for full details on rotation logic and daily limits.

Tips

Frequently asked

What browser should I use?+
Chrome or Edge on desktop provides the best experience. Safari and Firefox work but may have occasional WebRTC quirks. Mobile browsers are not recommended for calling.
What happens if a call drops mid-conversation?+
The recording up to the drop point is saved and transcribed normally. You can redial the lead from their profile or from Call Logs. If drops happen frequently, check your internet connection — a stable connection with at least 1 Mbps upload is recommended.
Can I dial international numbers?+
Yes. Enter the full number including the country code (e.g., +44 for UK). International calls are billed at Twilio's per-minute rates for the destination country and deducted from your wallet.
Where are my recordings stored?+
Recordings are stored securely on Asan's servers. You can play them back from Call Logs or the lead's Calls tab. You can also download any recording as an audio file. See Call recording & transcription for details.
Does AMD work on every call?+
AMD runs on all outbound calls by default. When it detects a voicemail, the call is ended and the dialer moves on. There is no need to enable or configure it.
Is there a limit on how many leads I can queue?+
There is no hard limit on queue size. However, your daily call volume is subject to DialGuard ramp limits to protect number reputation. See DialGuard for details on daily caps.
