Overview

Cori Live is a real-time transcription feature that displays a live transcript panel alongside the dialer during a call. Both sides of the conversation appear in near-real-time, powered by the OpenAI Realtime API for low-latency speech-to-text processing.

Cori Live uses additional AI minutes while active. It is turned off by default to conserve your AI usage. You must explicitly enable it for each call.

Enabling Cori Live

Cori Live is opt-in on a per-call basis. The agent must actively choose to enable it:

  1. Start a call in the dialer (or be about to start one).
  2. Check the "Coach this call" toggle in the dialer controls. You can enable it before the call connects or at any point during the call.
  3. The live transcript panel appears next to the dialer, showing real-time text as both you and the lead speak.
  4. Transcription updates in real time throughout the conversation.
  5. Uncheck the toggle at any time to stop the live transcription and close the panel.
You can toggle Cori Live on and off multiple times during a single call. Transcription only consumes AI minutes while the toggle is active.

When to use Cori Live

What is the latency on the live transcript?+
Transcription typically appears within 1–2 seconds of speech. The OpenAI Realtime API processes audio with very low latency, so the transcript stays close to the actual conversation.
Does Cori Live work on mobile?+
The dialer and Cori Live are designed for desktop browsers. While the feature may work on mobile browsers, the transcript panel is optimized for larger screens. We recommend using a desktop or laptop for the best experience.
Can my lead hear anything from Cori Live?+
No. Cori Live is a visual-only feature on your side. The lead hears nothing different — there is no audio played to them, and they are not aware that live transcription is running.
Does Cori Live record separately from normal call recording?+
No. The standard call recording continues as normal regardless of whether Cori Live is enabled. Cori Live adds a real-time transcript overlay but does not create a separate recording. After the call ends, the standard recording is transcribed and coached as usual.
How much does Cori Live cost?+
Cori Live uses AI minutes from your plan while active. The exact consumption depends on call duration. This is why it is off by default — you control exactly when to use it.
