Notification preferences
Control which notifications you receive, how they are delivered, and when. Fine-tune your alerts so you stay informed without being overwhelmed.
Notification types
Asan CRM sends notifications for key events across your account. Each type can be toggled on or off independently:
| Notification | What triggers it |
|---|---|
| New lead assigned | A lead is assigned to you via routing rules, manual assignment, or round-robin. |
| Call completed | An outbound or inbound call ends. Includes a link to the recording and AI coaching summary. |
| Meeting reminder | A scheduled meeting is coming up (default: 15 minutes before). |
| Task due | A task assigned to you reaches its due date or time. |
| Team mentions | A colleague mentions you with @ in a note or comment on a lead. |
| Workflow alerts | A workflow action completes, fails, or requires manual input. |
- Go to Settings → Notifications.
- Toggle each notification type on or off using the switches.
- Click Save. Changes take effect immediately.
Delivery schedule
Choose how frequently you want to receive notification emails. This setting applies to all email-based notifications:
- Real-time — each notification is sent as an individual email the moment it occurs. Best for agents who need to act immediately on new leads or calls.
- Daily digest — all notifications from the past 24 hours are bundled into a single morning summary email. Reduces inbox clutter while keeping you informed.
- Weekly summary — a single email each Monday morning summarizing the previous week's activity. Best for managers or part-time users.
In-app notifications
The bell icon () in the top navigation bar shows your in-app notifications. These are always enabled and cannot be turned off — they ensure you never miss critical events while working inside Asan CRM.
- Unread badge. A red dot appears on the bell when you have unread notifications.
- Click to view. The dropdown shows your most recent notifications with timestamps.
- Mark as read. Click a notification to open the related item (lead, call, task) and mark it as read. Use "Mark all as read" to clear the badge.
Email notification delivery
Email notifications are sent to the email address on your profile. To change the destination:
- Go to Settings → Profile.
- Update your email address and verify the new one.
Email notifications respect your delivery schedule setting. If you chose "Daily digest," individual events do not generate separate emails — they are batched into the next digest.
