Notification preferences

Control which notifications you receive, how they are delivered, and when. Fine-tune your alerts so you stay informed without being overwhelmed.

Notification types

Asan CRM sends notifications for key events across your account. Each type can be toggled on or off independently:

New lead assignedA lead is assigned to you via routing rules, manual assignment, or round-robin.
Call completedAn outbound or inbound call ends. Includes a link to the recording and AI coaching summary.
Meeting reminderA scheduled meeting is coming up (default: 15 minutes before).
Task dueA task assigned to you reaches its due date or time.
Team mentionsA colleague mentions you with @ in a note or comment on a lead.
Workflow alertsA workflow action completes, fails, or requires manual input.
  1. Go to Settings → Notifications.
  2. Toggle each notification type on or off using the switches.
  3. Click Save. Changes take effect immediately.

Delivery schedule

Choose how frequently you want to receive notification emails. This setting applies to all email-based notifications:

If you are a high-volume agent, try Daily digest. You get a clean morning briefing without dozens of individual emails throughout the day. In-app notifications still arrive in real time.

In-app notifications

The bell icon () in the top navigation bar shows your in-app notifications. These are always enabled and cannot be turned off — they ensure you never miss critical events while working inside Asan CRM.

In-app notifications are delivered in real time via WebSocket. If you notice a delay, try refreshing the page to re-establish the connection.

Email notification delivery

Email notifications are sent to the email address on your profile. To change the destination:

  1. Go to Settings → Profile.
  2. Update your email address and verify the new one.

Email notifications respect your delivery schedule setting. If you chose "Daily digest," individual events do not generate separate emails — they are batched into the next digest.

If notification emails are not arriving, check your spam folder. Add notifications@asancrm.com to your contacts to prevent filtering.

Can I turn off all notifications?+
You can turn off all email notifications by toggling every type off in Settings → Notifications. In-app notifications (bell icon) remain active and cannot be disabled — they are essential for account security alerts.
Do notification preferences apply to the mobile app?+
Asan CRM is a web application. Notification preferences control in-app (browser) and email notifications. If you use browser push notifications, those follow the same toggles.
Can I set different preferences per notification type?+
Yes. Each notification type has its own toggle. You can enable "New lead assigned" and "Task due" while disabling "Call completed" and "Workflow alerts," for example.
When does the daily digest arrive?+
The daily digest is sent each morning at approximately 8:00 AM in your account's timezone (set in Settings → Company).
My team member is not receiving notifications. What should I check?+
Make sure they have verified their email address, that their notification toggles are enabled in Settings → Notifications, and that notification emails are not being caught by their spam filter.
