Kanban pipeline board

A visual drag-and-drop board that organizes your leads by status. Move leads through your pipeline by dragging cards between columns.

Switching to Kanban view

  1. Go to Leads in the sidebar.
  2. In the toolbar, click the Kanban view toggle (next to the table/list icon).
  3. Your leads appear as cards organized into status columns.
Asan remembers your last view preference. If you switch to Kanban, it will be the default view next time you visit the Leads page.

Status columns

Each column represents a lead status. Cards flow from left to right as leads progress through your pipeline:

ColumnPurpose
NewFreshly added leads that have not been contacted yet.
ColdLeads with minimal engagement or no recent activity.
WarmLeads showing interest — some calls, emails, or replies.
HotHigh-intent leads ready for a close — strong engagement signals.
NurtureLong-term prospects being kept warm with periodic touchpoints.

Each column header shows the count of leads in that status.

Dragging leads between columns

Click and hold any lead card, then drag it to a different column to change its status. The status change is saved immediately — no confirmation dialog. This is the fastest way to update a lead's position in your pipeline.

Manually changing a lead's status via drag-and-drop pauses SMART auto-scoring for that lead. Asan assumes you know better. To re-enable auto-scoring later, open the lead and click Reset to Auto.

Filtering the board

The same filters available in the table view work on the Kanban board. Use the filter bar to narrow by:

Filtering by agent is especially useful for managers reviewing individual team member pipelines during coaching sessions.

Kanban vs. Deals pipeline

The Kanban board shows leads by status. If you need to track revenue opportunities with deal stages and values, use the separate Deals & opportunities pipeline.

Frequently asked

Can I customize the column names or add new columns?+
The Kanban columns map to lead statuses (New, Cold, Warm, Hot, Nurture). These are system statuses and cannot be renamed or removed. For custom stages, use the Deals pipeline.
Does dragging a lead update it for my whole team?+
Yes. Status changes are saved in real time and visible to all team members immediately.
Can I use Kanban on mobile?+
Yes. On mobile, the columns scroll horizontally. Tap and hold to drag cards between columns.
How are leads ordered within a column?+
Leads are sorted by most recent activity within each column, so the leads you interacted with most recently appear at the top.
