Onboarding & Cori tour
When you first sign in, Asan CRM walks you through a quick onboarding wizard and an interactive tour guided by Cori, your AI sales coach. Here is what to expect and how to revisit it later.
The onboarding wizard
The onboarding wizard runs automatically the first time you log in after creating your account. It takes about two minutes and sets up the essentials so you can start working right away.
- Business details. Enter your business name and select your timezone. Asan CRM uses the timezone for calling-hours enforcement (so you never call a lead at 2 AM) and for scheduling meetings in the correct local time.
- Phone number (optional). Search for a local phone number by area code. Your first US or Canadian number is free on every plan. If you skip this step, you can buy a number later from the Phone Numbers page.
- Invite team members (optional). If you are on a team plan, you can invite agents by email right away. They will receive an invite link and go through their own onboarding when they sign up.
Cori's guided tour
After the wizard, Cori offers an interactive tour of the app. The tour highlights the key areas you will use every day:
- Dashboard — your daily command center with stats, tasks, and Cori's greeting.
- Leads — where all your contacts live. Cori shows how to add a lead, search, and filter.
- Power dialer — the phone icon in the bottom corner. Cori walks you through placing a test call.
- Calendar — where meetings appear. Cori explains how to schedule and sync with Google Calendar.
- Cori chat — the purple orb. Cori demonstrates how to ask for help, draft messages, and create leads by chatting.
Each tour step includes a brief explanation and a "Next" button to advance. You can skip the tour at any time — it does not affect your account setup.
Sales personality assessment
Starting on your first day, Cori invites you to take a short personality assessment. This helps Cori understand your natural selling style and personalize coaching tips, greetings, and follow-up suggestions.

| Day 3 | Cori asks 2 final questions. Your full personality radar chart is now complete. |
Once the assessment is complete, you can view your full profile and radar chart in Settings → Selling Style. Cori uses your type to shape her coaching — a high-Drive "Hunter" gets different tips than a high-EQ "Connector."
Re-triggering the tour
If you skipped the tour during onboarding, or if you want to see it again after learning more about the app, you can restart it:
- Go to Settings from the sidebar.
- Scroll to the Help & Support section.
- Click "Restart Cori tour." The guided tour begins again from the dashboard.
Re-triggering the tour does not reset any of your data or settings — it simply replays the walkthrough.
Onboarding for team members
When you invite a team member, they receive an email with a link to create their account. Their onboarding is streamlined:
- Business name and timezone are inherited from the organization — they do not need to enter these again.
- They can claim their own phone number or use a shared number assigned by the admin.
- Cori offers them the same guided tour and personality assessment.
- Their leads, calls, and tasks are scoped to their own workspace within the team account.
