Sales personality profile

Cori assesses your selling style across six dimensions and assigns a personality type — then adapts all coaching feedback to match how you sell best.

The assessment process

The personality assessment happens over your first three days using Asan:

  1. Day 1: Answer a 3-question assessment when you first open Cori. Questions are short, scenario-based, and take under a minute.
  2. Cori reveals your personality type immediately after the initial assessment (e.g., Hunter, Closer, Connector).
  3. Days 2–3: Cori asks two follow-up questions each day to refine your profile. These appear in the Cori briefing and take seconds to answer.

After the three-day assessment period, your profile is complete. Cori uses it to tailor all coaching feedback to your natural selling style.

Answer the questions honestly based on how you actually sell, not how you think you should. The more accurate your profile, the more relevant Cori's coaching becomes.

The six dimensions

Personality types

TypeCharacteristics
HunterHigh Drive and Speed. Thrives on prospecting and opening new conversations. Excels at volume-based outreach and generating pipeline.
CloserHigh Drive and Grit. Focused on moving deals to finish. Best at negotiation, overcoming objections, and converting warm leads to wins.
ConnectorHigh EQ and Flexibility. Builds deep relationships with leads. Excels at consultative selling and long sales cycles where trust is key.
StrategistHigh Discipline and EQ. Methodical and data-driven. Plans every touchpoint carefully and maintains impeccable follow-up routines.
MaverickHigh Speed and Flexibility. Creative and unconventional. Finds unique angles, improvises effectively, and adapts to any situation on the fly.

Your radar chart

After the assessment is complete, you can view your personality profile as a radar chart:

  1. Go to Settings in the sidebar.
  2. Click Selling Style.
  3. Your radar chart shows your score across all six dimensions, with your personality type displayed prominently.

The radar chart gives you a visual snapshot of your strengths and growth areas at a glance.

How Cori adapts coaching

Once your personality type is established, Cori tailors its feedback to your style:

Your personality type does not limit what you can do in Asan. It simply helps Cori give you more relevant and actionable coaching after every call.

Frequently asked

Can I retake the assessment?+
Yes. Go to Settings → Selling Style and click Retake Assessment. Your previous profile is replaced with the new results. You might want to retake it if your selling approach has changed significantly.
Does my personality type affect lead assignments?+
Not currently. Lead assignment is based on routing rules, round-robin, or manual assignment. Your personality type only affects the coaching feedback Cori gives you.
Can my manager see my personality profile?+
Yes. Managers and admins can view personality profiles for all agents on their team. This can be useful for understanding team composition and pairing complementary styles. Individual profiles are also visible on the Team DNA page.
How accurate is the assessment?+
The assessment is a starting point based on self-reported preferences. Cori refines its understanding of your style over time as it analyzes your actual call transcripts and activity patterns. The longer you use Asan, the more accurate the coaching becomes.
