Cori Agent (auto follow-ups)

Cori Agent auto-drafts follow-up messages for your leads — you review and approve before anything sends.

Nothing ever sends without your approval. Cori Agent drafts messages for you to review — you always have the final say.

Setting up Cori Agent

  1. Go to Settings in the sidebar.
  2. Click Cori Agent.
  3. Enable the channels you want Cori to draft follow-ups for: SMS, Email, or WhatsApp.
  4. Set the maximum follow-ups per lead (default: 3). Cori will not draft more than this number of messages for a single lead before stopping.
  5. Set the follow-up schedule — the default timing is shown below.

After a lead's last contact, Cori drafts follow-ups on this schedule:

You can customize the timing and number of follow-ups in Settings. Cori respects your schedule and will not draft outside of it.

How Cori scans for leads

Cori scans your lead database every 30 minutes looking for leads that match your follow-up schedule. When a lead is due for a follow-up, Cori drafts a personalized message based on:

Reviewing drafts

All drafts appear in the Cori Agent queue. For each draft, you can:

Drafts expire after 48 hours if you do not act on them. Expired drafts are discarded automatically to keep the queue clean and prevent stale messages from being sent late.

Newsletter auto follow-ups

Cori Agent integrates with your email campaigns to generate smart follow-ups based on newsletter engagement:

Scheduled delivery times

Cori is aware of your calling hours and will schedule draft delivery within business hours. If a draft is approved outside of calling hours, it queues for the next available window.

Frequently asked

Can Cori send messages automatically without my approval?+
No. Every message drafted by Cori Agent requires your explicit approval before it is sent. This is by design — you maintain full control over all outgoing communication.
What channels does Cori Agent support?+
Cori Agent can draft follow-ups for SMS, Email, and WhatsApp. You enable each channel independently in Settings. Cori will only draft messages for channels you have turned on.
How do I pause follow-ups for a specific lead?+
Open the lead's detail page and toggle Pause Cori Agent in the lead settings. Cori will stop drafting follow-ups for that lead until you re-enable it. You can also skip individual drafts in the queue without pausing the lead entirely.
Does Cori Agent work for brand-new leads?+
Yes. If a new lead comes in (from a form, CSV import, or Facebook) and you do not contact them within 24 hours, Cori can draft an initial outreach message. This is controlled by the same follow-up schedule settings.
What happens if I skip all drafts for a lead?+
If you skip all scheduled follow-ups for a lead, Cori stops drafting for that lead until new activity occurs (such as the lead replying or a new call being made). This prevents Cori from repeatedly drafting messages you do not want to send.
